Well, I've officially given up; I've decided that who ever gave you that
advice was dead on. You just can't change your method of thought, and it
doesn't seem like C++ can be explained in a manner that even vaguely
represents coherent explanation. Just one of those things you just have to
"get" I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone. Don't cry for me :)
