I don't know how much you're planning on using myth, but I think you'll find 
that a universal learning remote is going to be much easier to work into your 
system than using a prepackaged PC PVR remote control. I spent about $30 for 
a learning remote from radio shack and I'm much happier than if I were using 
another remote that couldn't learn and control other components in my system, 
like my stereo, vcr (ugh), and tv.

BTW, I bought mine on ebay without a remote so I may be a little biased.
