Still not used to KMail, it does weird things to my mail headers, gpg, and 
causes strange routing of mail... Anyhow...

The majority of other distros have APIC enabled in their default kernels, 
which does Bad Things to stability on nForce2 boards. Just about any other 
distro will require a custom kernel w/o APIC. I don't think its a major PITA, 
but it is definitely more work than RH/FC. You probably wouldn't have too 
many problems, but I wouldn't recommend it to any Linux newcomers.

RH/FC can be apt-based! :) But I think its good for people to try other 
distros also, once they have a solid understanding of Linux in general.
