[mythtv-users] Moving to Fedora Core & Myth 0.13: Backup and Restore...

Hi Jarod,

Well - using a bit of sql tweaking, I managed to import the rest of my
shows. I have now, as you suggested, created a partition dedicated to
mythtv and storage - and it works perfectly - hopefully the next upgrade
will be less fraught!

Strange about LIRC - I don't quite understand that - my serial IR
detector is plugged into COM1 - but lircd kept crashing whenever I tried
to run irw or irxevent - still, with my workaround, it is working fine
now - so alls well that ends well. One thing I don't quite understand
is whether Mythtv requires irxevent now - do i need to run it?

Thanks,

Richie
