[mythtv-users] Suggestion for the Mythvideo module

How about adding a function so that mythvideo can play divx,xvid,etc, videos directly from cd? When you select your video file there should be a option to scan the cd drive. If a cd is in the drive, then it automatically gets mounted and you can then scan the contents and play the files. 
Secondly, it would be cool if for all your movies that you have on cd and not on the harddrive, if you could still store all the infos in a permanent database, i.e. imdb lookup, cover picture, etc. Of course the database would need to know that the file is located on cd and not always available. 
Anyways, I think you know what I'm getting at.
