The no such device indicates that there is no physical
card in your computer that matches anything in that
driver (bttv.o is NOT used with the PVR cards).  What
distribution are you using?  You might turn
'hotplugging' off or blacklist bttv in your hotplug
setup so it is not automagically loaded unless you
tell it to load.  Do you have a modprobe.conf as well
as a modules.conf?  You might check there also.
