[mythtv-users] Live TV ("Waited 2 seconds...") freeze does not occur when 30 seconds behind

I updated to CVS last night and there was no difference.
Here is what was in the output log (there doesn't seem to be
much point in posting backtraces, I've never seen a response to 
one for this problem):

2003-12-19 23:55:41 Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
2003-12-20 00:38:19 prebuffering pause
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
2003-12-20 00:38:25 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
QSocketDevice::writeBlock: Invalid socket
2003-12-20 00:38:25 Error writing stringlist
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
Waited 2 seconds for data to become available, waiting again...
(over and over)

It also had one prebuffering pause earlier in the log that didn't
result in "waiting 2 seconds.." errors.  I'll just play with the
pause in LiveTV and see what is the minimum amount I need to be
behind to avoid the data loss.  And hope that it eventually gets
fixed.
