Sure!  You also lose the ability to do PIP!  Since I use a PVR-250 and a 
M179 as my first 2 tuners, and using their internal tuners, having PIP is 
pretty sweet.  XvMC isn't worth it for me, especially since I'm not seeing 
much of a performance gain... maybe I'd think differently if I had a HDTV 
card... ;)
