[mythtv-users] Bad sound for second recoding in a series

Whenever I schedule a number of shows to record consecutively (e.g. 3x
20 minute slots of The Simpsons), the second and subsequent recordings
have bad sound. The sound is very low volume (barely audible), and
distorted. There is no problem with the picture.

I am using btaudio, which works fine in general (live TV, one-off
recordings). I believe this means that it can't be a duplex sound card
type problem? I am also using ALSA, which appears to be set-up OK

Can anyone help?
