I must have missed the posting about problems with RAID... But I was running a 
dual 80GB software RAID stripe setup in my system for several months without 
a problem (but I dumped it in favor of a single 250GB Caviar SE I just 
bought). As with many things, I guess ymmv. :-\

Oh, and my workstation that I do lots of MythTV testing on also has a RAID 
setup, but its a SCSI hardware RAID, and I'm assuming the problem reports 
were with Linux software RAID, but I could be mistaken...
