It would appear KMail has very poor support for gpg/mime attached signatures. 
If I send something signed w/Evolution or Apple Mail (both set to use 
attached sigs), KMail can't even verify my own sig, but if I send with 
in-line sig, KMail does recognize the sig. :-\
