[mythtv-users] PVR250 Remote control (the black one) question

Thank you for the info -  I'm going to try other modes on my 
Phillips remote per Jeremy's suggestion and then some of the other
universal remotes I have at home, but if none of those fly I'll probably 
get the IRman.  What is appropriate on the linux box's side to build a 
new lircd.conf file?  I played with irw, but I suspect it was only echoing
the codes it was told about via lircd.conf.  I also tried irdadump, but
wasn't getting anything output.
