Can't help with the remote (didn`t get one) but I have the VFD working using the winamp connection type. This is a snip from the relevant part of LCDd.conf [HD44780] # Hitachi HD44780 driver # See docs/hd44780_howto.txt Port=0x378 ConnectionType=winamp Works nicely with Mythtv. Regards Duncan
