Alright, I'm about to purchase my system, and I thought it would be wise
to run it by here first in case someone sees a problem.  In case someone

I know I would be fine with EIDE instead of SATA.  I want the system to
act as a firewall, so I'm getting a motherboard with dual ethernet.  Is
there anything else I'm spending too much on?  Is there anything I
should be spending more on?
