The pcHDTV support in Myth saves an MPEG-TS (transport stream) stream
that has been stripped of everything but the program of interest. You
would need to (at least) translate it to MPEG-PS (program stream) to
decode it with a hardware decoder. Of course, you're also at the mercy
of the MPEG encoder at the station as to whether the resulting stream
conforms to what the pvr350 is expecting.

As an aside, at least in my area, most everything on HDTV stations is
1080i or 720p, with some 480p and only a relatively small amount of
480i. And most audio I've seen is in AC3.
