May I suggest a JP1 remote.  Take a look at:

I have not used this myself, but have heard that it works quite well.
Basicly, if your remote has a JP1 interface, you can program it to do almost
anything you want.  If you are looking to combine all of your components
onto one remote, this is the route I would take.
