Unfortunately this won't solve the problem.  Just having the proxy in 
place is incompatible.  I set Dansguardian to allow ALL traffic to/from 
the IP of my Myth box to no avail.

Joseph are you doing the transparent proxy by rerouting through 
IPTABLES?  If so, change your IPTABLES rules to not preroute redirect 
traffic from the IP of your Myth box.
