[mythtv-users] Checkboxes hard to see

In all of my themes, the checkboxes in the settings pages are black 
checkmarks within a black (or dark grey) box.  On my 19" TV it's really 
hard to tell if it's checked or not.

I just launched the setup program from an SSH session and on my remote 
computer the checkmarks are white.

Where does this come from?  I'd like them to be white on the TV as well...
