[mythtv-users] S3 Savage - wrong colours

I've just got a new motherboard, and X is using the S3 Savage driver to 
drive the onboard VGA.

If I set it to 800x600 everything is ok except video playback, which has 
the wrong colours (e.g. blue is shown as red, etc - I'm guessing it's an 
XV problem).

If I set it to 768x576 on a custom modeline (PAL output) then the colours 
are right but now both X and mythfrontend are using up huge amounts of CPU 
time.

Can anyone suggest a way to fix the problems?
