Check out http://vocp.sourceforge.net
It would be fairly easy to write a client to interface into their system.
Once everything is setup, it works fairly well (although the voice menu stuff
can be fustrating on the caller).


Plugin idea:
  MythSystem - A realtime(only when activated) system monitoring app.  Gives
    you a good picture of CPU/disk/network usage.  Maybe show you the clients
    that are connected to the backend server and which services they are
    requesting.
