[mythtv-users] Archiving shows, what do you think?

I agree, this is probably the "most needed" new feature. I too am finding
my watch recordings screen getting a bit full.
I now have a reasonable stable myth setup, but I would like to add disk
capacity for archiving recorded shows I want to keep.

On a side note, is there an easy way to add an additional drive, but make it
appear as if it is part of my existing /myth/video directory ? What are
peoples experiences / procedures for adding capacity without re-configuring
everything on a new drive ?

Pete

As an extension to this, I think it would be cool to add a archiving
postion to the prompt window that lets you move or transcode and move at
the same time. Even better would be to be able to archive to another
media like network drives or CD/DVD ;)
