this is a pretty good setup. If you want to save some money you could
use a lesser cpu also. I have basically the same setup with a pvr250 and
a software encoder using the onboard tv-out, and I only have an athlon
1700+ seems to handle recording two shows simoutainously just fine, and
if I am recording the software card in RTJpeg I can also watch a
previously recorded show.
