[mythtv-users] where did my sound go on mythtv

Hi,

I have had mythtv compiled and working correctly until recently. I oddly began 
experiencing a few problems when i started tinkering with separating the 
front and backend, but since I use CVS I flushed the db and set everything 
back up from scratch with most recent version. Fixed the major problems 
except I don't have any sound on live tv now (i'm using bttv, worked before). 
I must be missing something small. It works on mythmusic... not sure about 
other modules yet but alsamixer looks right. 

Any ideas how to get started diagnosing would help, i'm stuck-
