[mythtv-users] nova-t hardware encoder?

Sounds like with DVB you don't actually need a hardware mpeg encoder. The
signal you are receiving is already an MPEG 2 stream. If you search the
messages in this forum, there is another guy that has just bought one... he
might know a little more about it..
