[mythtv-users] frontend CPU utilization after change from sw to hw encoding

Exactly the same for me.
I suppose that it's due to the MPEG2 decoding, but reading a DVD with 
Xine only takes +/- 50%. Maybe is there some optimizations to be done 
regarding MPEG2 decoding...

On the same cpu-cycle vein, looks like bringing up the OSD takes a 
ridiculous amount of CPU (at least 30%, but then I get to 100%) vs. the 
fact that no processing takes place.
