[mythtv-users] Sound Echo

I'm having a bit of an annoying problem with my sound setup in MythTV 0.11.  
First my specs:

Gentoo Linux 1.4
Pentium 4 2.5 Ghz @ 2.8 Ghz
Gigabyte SINXP1394
512 MB Dual DDR 400
Radeon 9500
Audigy 2
WD 30GB ATA100 Drive
Alsa 0.9.6
VoodooTV 100 (BT878 Chipset)

I get MythTV running fine and I get sound.  Sound is synced up fine.  But what 
I'm getting is a bit of an echo.  I hear the voices that are synced with the 
video first, then an echo.  My Aux channel is muted and set to capture w/ 
alsamixer and my Capture channel is turned up.  I can control the volume of 
audio w/ "AC97 Capture".  I don't know if this is correct, because when I 
used MythTV previously, I don't think this is how I controlled volume.  The 
echo seems to get worse when the volume is higher.  I have no idea what might 
be causing this....any ideas?
