[mythtv-users] Record Sky tv via RF?

Hi all...

I guess this is more of a general useage question rather than a techie
one. I've finally got my Pundit / Myth combo working, and pretty sweet
it is too. (MythTv .10)

My setup currently has the tv input comming via the 'RF Out 2' on the
back of my Sky digibox, so I can pause whatever channel I'm watching on Sky.

Thing is...

As the Sky box pumps everything out on RF channel 60, I guess Myth
doesn't know what channel it's 'watching' and so can't record anything.
(had problems with xmltv, so nothing in the EPG is populated anyway).

(TIP: On Sky, press 'services' followed by 4 0 1 Enter, to get to the
secret menu, where you can setup the RF etc)

Consequentially, the instant record fails with an SQL error, as it's no
idea what channel it's watching.

Even if I got the xmltv import to work, it'd be no use as everything is
on channel 60.

I guess my question to you all is, is there any way to simply say
'record what I'm watching now, and I don't care if you don't know what
it is'. ?

-Garry.
