I have the silver remote too.  Here's a few other keys you might find 
interesting.

function         mythkey    lircrc name
next favorite    /                  slash
rew scan          <                less
ffw scan           >                greater

I made some other changes from the config listed here a few months ago.
yellow x for transcoding
blue   r for recording
blank  z  to load cutlist
I have attached my .lircrc.  Its mostly the same as the one posted here 
a few months ago as I mentioned.
Hope this helps.

Don't forget to rename it to .lircrc and put it in the home directory 
of your mythtv user or in the .mythtv directory of your mythtv user dir 
if your using the built in lirc of mythtv.
