Yeah, I did get your message.  It sounds plausible, but I can't see why
that'd be happening.   The cable TV signal is very strong, and my MythTV
unit is the only one that exhibits the symptoms.  When I watch directly on
my TV's tuner or through a Stereo VCR, I never have any audio problems.
No dropouts, static, brief switches to Mono, or other anomalies.

I do have "once=1" specified in my module options.
