[mythtv-users] Any suggestions for better sound?

I have everything working fine, but the sound is (how do I explain
this?) tinny ( kinda like in a tin can. not the echo, just the twang.)

I have a leatek tvtuner and a soundblaster live soundcard with the alsa
drivers. on mandrake 9.1. Anyone have any suggestions? I have played
around with different settings in alsamixer, but haven't come up with
one that works really well yet.
