Actually, he should be fine with the ATI TV Wonder
VE... It's a BT8x8-based card.
William,
If you can get the non-VE edition you'll get stereo,
and maybe a couple of other features. I'm not too
familiar with the ATI TV Wonder line though. I don't
think that either ATI TV Wonder card supports btaudio,
but I may be wrong. Worst case, if your sound card
isn't full duplex (the card on the motherboard), you
can always buy a second sound card for the audio-in.
I picked up a Soundblaster 16 PCI today for $30, and
it works great - gameport works for MAME (MythGame),
and it's full-duplex, all with the OSS drivers (it's
an Ensoniq 1371, even though it's recognized as a
Creative 5880).
