Thanks for the feedback, guys. Based on it, I tried again, and failed
again. But then I ran the underlying "problem" command from the command
line and succeeded. (At least apparently; mythfilldatabase is running now,
seemingly with just the routine problems it always has due to some
peculiarities of my channel data.)
The command I ran was:
/usr/bin/perl -w /usr/bin/tv_grab_na
--config-file /home/mythtv/.mythtv/Comcast.xmltv --configure
While running, the process asked some questions that I had to respond to,
namely these 4 lines:
add channel 35 FOODP ? [yes,no,all,none (default=yes)]
add channel 49 AMCP ? [yes,no,all,none (default=yes)]
remove no-longer available channel 35 FOOD ? [yes,no,all,none
(default=yes)]
remove no-longer available channel 49 AMC ? [yes,no,all,none
(default=yes)]
I wonder if the setup wrapper for the command has a problem dealing with
the need to respond to questions. If so, I'm not sure if it would be a
MythTV bug or an XMLTV bug, but I though it worth mentioning in either
case, just in case others also run into it.
