I have the same hardware and am very happy with it. Ensure that
you are using the cs46xx driver under Alsa. I'm attaching my
asound.state.gz -- ungzip it and put it in /etc, then run alsactl
restore to slurp it into your settings.
My modules load-order looks like this (I followed the directions
for Alsa in a HOWTO or somesuch, pretty straightforward):
Module Size Used by Tainted: P
btaudio 10924 0 (unused)
tvaudio 14140 0 (autoclean) (unused)

I've included extra modules here to show how PVR-350 can play nicely
with a WinTV 401-dbx card using btaudio.
On Apr 27, at 18:12, Scott Beck encoded a 1.2K recording:
> My sound card is a Hercules Game Theater Xp, a funcky looking card
> with an external box for plugging in game port, headphones and
> mic. I have the sound cable from the WinTV GO card plugged into the
> AUX jack on the back of the sound card (the only IN on the back
> aside from where the external box plugs in).
