Hi!

A new locale setting screen will make its apparition in the next release 
to help set default parameters for locale settings such as date and time 
formats.

The new screen looks like this

With the version currently in Trunk you can make it appear by calling 
mythfrontend with the -p parameter (mythfrontend -p).

The country name shown there should be the informal country name (for 
example if a country is known as "Republic of Country" but is also 
frequently called "Country" (without the republic part), this will be 
the name shown here).

For countries with more than one official language the language shown 
there should be the one spoken by the majority (there is unfortunately 
no way of showing more than one).

If you notice typos (or untranslated country names) in your country name 
(or possibly neighboring countries) please let us know so that it can be 
corrected.
