I'm now on b449f5e. I wondered if I had appropriate driver-extras
installed, and looked at
https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/NVIDIA#NVENC.2FNVDEC
I had the cuda-libs package, and have now added vdpauinfo,
libva-vdpau-driver and libva-utils as suggested in the VDPAU/VAAPI
section. On frontend startup NVDEC is available and VAAPI is recognised
as using a VDPAU backend and ignored. NVDEC codecs are MPEG1,2,4, VC-1
and H.264
The OSD always says it's using ffmpeg and no deint.
