I hadn't realized they changed that much.  After the very few SciFi
shows I watched at the time either ended or got cancelled, nothing
else appealed to me.  I really haven't watched the network since
except for the occasional movie.

Anyway, what I've proposed can handle it.  When I get to the actual
handling of the changed channels part (which likely won't be for a
while), we can support flexible policies for what changes among
callsign, name, number, icon or whatever trigger a delete/add instead
of an update.
