Interesting.  My Comcast IPv6 prefix has not
changed for many months(*).  Typically Comcast
does not change the prefix unless your
equipment changes its DHCP-PD delegation
DUID-UUID.  Of course, your equipment may
randomly change it at every reboot, or you may
intentionally force a DUID-UUID change (it was
a well known mitigation to help their systems
forget an old delegation of the wrong size since
most DHCP6 clients never issued a prefix
release).  [As with all else, Comcast does
not guarantee the address will not change,
and change it will, but it is typically stable
for me]

In any case, anecdotal evidence on lists
with a network staff bias with Comcast
as their residential offering suggest that
they, too, see long leases.  YMWV.




(*) The last time it changed was due to
(based on some indirect info) a fairly large
headend/CMTS update, and before that
when my gateway device needed to be
RMA'ed.
