Guys,
I played with #12809 on production system with 3 FE last few weeks.
Works really well. 
No single problem to report. 

What are pals regarding to include this into main tree?

Current master code starts to diverge with #12809 (https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commit/e7deca28e8e52f4dd6463b92cc49c22f6745e6ad) break #12809.
