Yes, if lastPlayPos was set, ie. your cat exited playback after you'd 
fallen asleep.

No. If lastPlayPos isn't set then playback resumes from the bookmark.

That was an oversight that got fixed.
But that behaviour hasn't changed; the code has just become more simple.

Now that Myth has the lastPlayPos, it never sets, nor clears the 
bookmark. So the settings that tried to control when & how it was 
updated ("Clear bookmark on playback" & "Save and exit") are redundant.
If you set a bookmark, it will persist until you clear it or the 
recording is deleted.
