I overstated the improvement in entering Watch Recordings; the new
patch seems to slightly speed up the appearance of fan art in the
first-selected recording entry, but the vast bulk of the improvement
of course occurs afterward.

It's strange how, for so long having accepted scrolling in Watch
Records as inherently "sticky", I can now zip around at high speed. In
the almost one decade I've used MythTV there have been one
video-related and two UI-related improvements that stand out in my
mind:

* VDPAU
* Your #10161
* Angela Schmid's #12157

This patch belongs on the above list.
