There are bugs e.g. #12394, thankfully they are few in number.

There are also likely to be issues which are subtle, or in areas of the code 
which don't get used much or by many people which have so far gone undetected. 
So while it's very stable, you should still keep your guard up and 
periodically check that everything you take for granted has actually worked.
