I think the potential negative impact is small. I've run it on my
system without problem, but my current use of multirec is pretty
limited. I just don't want someone to miss a recording and lower
their WAF because of a typo or thinko that I missed. I'm also just
not sure yet how much of an improvement it will really make for heavy
multirec users. Your setup is the kind this change is inended for,
though, so I'm very interested in whatever testing you can do.
