[mythtv] Introducing myself

Hi folks !

With the recent discussions on mythtv-users regarding the future of the
project and the lack of manpower I think it's time for me to come out of
the shadow and offer my help if needed.

So, let's introduce myself.

My name is Cédric Schieli (sdrik on #freenode) and I'm an happy MythTV user
since late 2010 (I think it was 0.23 by that time). I have some strong
skills in Linux (administration, packaging), C/C++ development and network
engeneering. I've already made some contributions to the project (see
#7762, #11306, #11729, #12046).
I cannot guarantee I'll have a lot of time to give to the project, but I
will at least work on the different issues I encounter in my own setup.
For example, in the next few weeks I intend to work on one of the remaining
problem of my freshly installed FE (Intel NUC DN2820FYKH, it's not a $100
solution but a really neat $250 one) : MFE is randomly crashing with vaapi
decoding so I'm stuck with opengl (a bit choppy on my 1080p monitor with
some of the SD H.264 media I've tried).
I also want to resurrect #7762 or at least find a way to cleanly instruct
the MBE that a combined SBE/FE is not only busy when the SBE is recording
but also when the FE is not idle.

For the record, here is my current setup (all is 0.27 for now) :

 - the MBE is located in my basement. It is an Ubuntu 12.04 LXC container
within an old but loyal P4 (Dell PowerEdge 420SC) with 2 TB of storage. It
has only a dummy tuner but hold the video storage groups and is online 24/7.
- a (main) combined SBE/FE in the living room (Ubuntu 12.04, Dell PowerEdge
400, double-tuner PCI card and a Radeon r100 AGP card connected to an old
CRT TV). It is waked up (WOL) for most recording and on-demand (push
button) for watching.
- a (secondary) combined SBE/FE in the kids playroom (Ubuntu 12.04, Dell
PowerEdge 400, single-tuner USB stick and a Radeon r200 AGP card connected
to a 17" LCD). Same use case, but will only record if all the tuners of the
main SBE are busy.
- a FE in the bedroom (Gentoo, NUC DN2820FYKH connected to a 24" LCD
monitor).

Cédric
