[mythtv] Cannot connect to the mythzmserver

I wonder if localhost resolving to two different things is a problem.

I wonder if it knows how to speak IPv6.  Maybe it doesn't know how to
talk to ::1.

Well it did explicitly say it could not find the address for localhost.
So the hostname shouldn't matter.
