Hi Jim,

So far, so good. I'm now recording some channels I didn't have on hand so I can verify they're OK. One thing that surprises me is that I can't seem to find a recording that has CCs in a secondary language. Not that I speak Spanish, but there may be mythtv users that rely on Spanish CCs.

FWIW, I have some samples of .nuv and ivtv recordings. Their CCs look OK too. I've also got a sample of a recording made on a Panasonic DVD recorder. This one's CCs have the extraneous XEs which don't appear when the source DVD is played on a DVD player, a problem that's there in 0.23. If you're interested in any of these samples, I'd be happy to share them. I can probably make up a small .iso that you can burn to a DVD so you can see how the CCs look on a DVD player.

Regards,
Helen
