Glad you could reproduce it and can see the benefits of no intro DVDs. I hate having to wait to see the menu. I hadn't tried to work around it with a shorter intro. FWIW, I fixed this for myself years ago, but I was always a release or two too far behind to share it. Finally, I've got a new machine that I'm prepping to replace my current master backend and doesn't need to be pressed into service yet, so I can afford to iron out any kinks with the latest mythtv release.

If you're interested, I've added other features to my 0.23 version of mythburn that I plan on porting to 0.27. For example, creating chapter marks at cut points, or if not cutting, at commercial skip marks.
