For an indicator of what's happening take a look at http://code.mythtv.org/trac/report/3. Any blocker and, I think, critical bugs will hold up a release.

Yesterday's lossless transcode fix cleared a blocker so I guess there's just the three (yellow) critical bugs and then we pass go and collect $200.
