[mythtv] Compilation problem

I'm helping a friend get his myth setup and this is stumping me.  Fresh git
checkout of 0.25-fixes.  Nothing myth related outside the git folder.
 Distribution is CentOS

I've double and triple-checked that there are no stray includes or
libraries anywhere on the system other than the git checkout.  Any ideas?
