[mythtv] MythTV 0.26, XVideo, and OpenGL

Now that 0.25 has been released (congratulations and
thanks to all the developers for their work), a question
about the 0.26 feature list, and specifically OpenGL
plans and the removal of XVideo.

As originally announced at:

there is a long term plan to move to OpenGL and
remove XVideo support.  Where does this plan stand
for the 0.26 time frame?
