Lawrence,

All of your patches are useful and appreciated.  Try to have a little
understanding of just how discontiguous and discontinuous MythTV
development is-- we have, at best, one expert in any given bit of
code, and if we're lucky, one or two people who have some
understanding but not expertise.  We also try not to step on each
other's toes, so if we don't understand a bit of code or feel that
someone takes a strong sense of ownership over it, we wait for them to
get to it.

Add to that the fact that many/most of us have families, live in
different timezones, and are otherwise occupied with real life, and it
leaves precious little time to get at work we do independently, and
less time still to carve through the many patches and tickets assigned
to us as individuals.

I hope that you're keep submitting patches and improvements-- but
that's going to be contingent on a certain amount of patience and
willing to work with us when we can finally bring your work to the top
of the pile.  Mark is the resident expert in our group when it comes
to all things playback, we leave many such patches because we put a
lot of stock in his knowledge and opinion.
